Major differences between synthetic and non synthetic hormones

  • Synthetic Vs Non-Synthetic (Bioidentical) Hormones

No one explains the difference between conventional HRT as Doctor Lintner on his website (Henry H. Lindner, 2007). He explains that Conventional HRT is Hormone Substitution Therapy with Estradiol substituted by conjugated equine estrogens (CEE-Premarin) and ethinyl estradiol (in birth control pills), and Progesterone substituted as medroxyprogesterone acetate (MPA-Provera) and 30+ other progestins all called falsely called progesterone. Testosterone substituted as methyltestosterone. Such are patented drugs, not human hormones. Ethinyl estradiol (EE) cannot be inactivated by normal oxidation! EE does not interact with an estrogen receptor. EE is 12,000-60,000 times more potent by weight! EE is thrombogenic with 2x risk of DVT pulmonary emboli.

Premarin or Conjugated Equine Estrogens (CEE) contains at least 10 estrogens, only 3 are human; also contains horse androgens and progestins. He explains that Bioidentical Hormones are not Drugs. The structure is same as the hormones in the body, same action at receptors, same metabolism, and elimination. There are no side effects associated with their use. Drug-drug interactions are also minimal.

Hormones play a key role in the function, growth, and maintenance of tissues in both sexes with Estradiol, Progesterone, Testosterone and DHEA playing a pivotal role. Hormones maintain function, affect mood, cognitive ability, memory, pain, immune system maintain connective tissue such as skin, hair, bone, muscle. Hormones improve insulin sensitivity, prevent diabetes, fatty liver, improve blood pressure, improve the endothelial function, and subsequently prevent atherosclerosis (Henry H. Lindner, 2007)
